TWO NEW COMMISSIONS:
Two murals, terrazzo, and integrated wall artworks at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah (2026–2027)
We’re excited to announce the studio has been awarded a $164,000 public art commission for the new Social Sciences Building at Snow College, featuring a 10' architectural lobby terrazzo medallion, an 8' x 24' mural, an 8' x 12' mural, and a suite of site-integrated corridor wall works. The project brings together place-based imagery, disciplined graphic structure, and durable architectural materials to create a distributed visual system rooted in community, learning, and the Sanpete Valley, with installation scheduled for late 2026 through 2027.
Architectural terrazzo and GFRC artworks for a new civic building in Nevada (2026)
We're thrilled to announce the studio has also been awarded a $200,000 public art commission for a very exciting project in Nevada, with fabrication and installation set for summer through autumn 2026. More information soon!

METHODOLOGY: FROM CONCEPT TO CRANE LIFT
Jason Hoelscher Studio LLC translates environmental conditions, spatial patterns, and the ways communities inhabit and shape a place into dynamic, buildable artworks. Using an AEIOU framework—Activities, Environments, Interactions, Objects, and Users—we observe how a site is actually experienced and lived, then convert those insights into visual systems of color, pattern, and form. The result is durable, fabrication-ready public art that's code-aware and low-maintenance, delivered through milestone-based coordination, fabrication planning, and maintenance documentation, and integrated seamlessly with architecture to support everyday use, as seen in our work with these and other public art partnerships:
